There’s a new special needs blogger you need to meet. She blogs at Bignity Ventures, a website that focuses on communication and speech therapy.
Meet Jamie Openden
The brains behind Bignity Ventures is Jamie Openden, a young woman and speech therapist with a desire to create speech apps for kids with communication and speech special needs. I stand in awe of her vision, since she’s the same age (to the very month) as my son. No way I would have had vision like hers when I was 28.
Lots of Good Stuff at Bignity Ventures
But Bignity.com is about more than speech therapy and communications. She’s enlisted a cadre of guest bloggers (including me) who contribute from a variety of special needs perspectives. She’s also working on podcasts of interviews and all sorts of fancy-schmancy techie stuff.
