Parenting Special Needs Magazine: 2011 March/April Issue

Good news! The March/April issue of Parenting Special Needs Magazine is now online. Once again, it is packed with articles and information.
This Month’s Features
Here’s a quick run down of this month’s feature articles:
- Understanding the Mental Skills Affected by ADHD and ADD
- To Stim or Not to Stim: Is Stimulation an Option for Kids with Autism?
- Healthy Easter Baskets (This one is full of creative ways to avoid too much sugar and dye in candy.)
Special Care Articles
The articles in the Special Care Department also caught my eye. They tackled topics such as brain injury prevention, vision health, and one about how a doctor’s education influences acceptance of complementary medicine.
Check It Out for Yourself
That’s just a smattering of what you’ll find in the March/April issue of Parenting Special Needs magazine. Check it out for yourself at www.parentingspecialneeds.org. If you have a story to tell or article idea, check out their submission guidelines. If they accept your piece, come back and leave a comment so I can do a happy dance!
Putting on my tap shoes,
Jolene
