So You Want to Be a Work-at-Home Mom
A few months ago, DifferentDream.com was part of a blog tour for a new book, So You Want to be a Work-At-Home Mom. Since then, I’ve met many moms, some of them with special needs kids, who want to work from home but don’t know where to start. They keep coming to mind, and I keep wanting to help them. Since I’m not an expert on the topic, the best thing I can do is refer them to someone who is.

Since I know one of the authors, Jill Hart, I know she knows what she’s talking about. After her first child was born, she created her own home business and became an expert in the field. Though I don’t know Dianna, the advice she gives in So You Want to be a Work-At-Home Mom about how to become a “virtual assistant” made me wish positions like that had been available when my kids were little. Her story of how she became one is both interesting and inspiring.
New Year’s Resolution
If you’re a mom whose resolved to work at home in 2010, this book can help you reach your goal. I’m giving a copy to a young woman who recently had her first child and wants to transition into a home-based business soon. When she’s done reading it, I’ll pass on her thoughts to you.
